Short professional biography
David Hodgson has been a lecturer in the social work programme, at Edith Cowan University, since 2001. His teaching and research centres on: ethics, social work practice, social theory and analysis, educational sociology, gender theory, risk, governmentality, and, social programme evaluation.  David taught social work in the Seychelles in 2003.

Industry experience
David has worked as a social worker, counsellor, community educator and programme coordinator/developer in the areas of: men and family relationships; cross cultural practice; and parent education. He has also delivered professional staff development training and supervision for not-for-profit organisations.
